This song is inspired by day-cations and weekend trips to Portland. I adore the Lan Su Chinese Garden and Tao of Tea Teahouse.
This is a chill house track that really grooves. Ambient stabs and texture a-plenty with a good rolling bassline along with a breakdown that throws in some subtle piano makes for a perfect lazy day track!

Silver Standard
Jeff and I have wrapped up our latest project, a self titled LP consisting of tracks from the previous "The Silver Standard EP", and a few new ones sure to please! My Birthday Gift to You!
First, let me start by saying thanks to everyone who contributed a listen and a vote to the Beatportal.com Tiesto Remix Contest! I reached my (small) goal of 40 votes, but it means a lot to me to know that 40 of you took the time to actually read the Tweets, emails, and posts about my remix and then voted!
More than several times this month, I will be posting new material to my website, Soundcloud, iLike, Last.fm, and other sources in honor of my birthday!
I wanted to give something to everyone who has been supporting my music this year and I couldn't think of a better time and way to do it than provide everyone with new, free, tracks to listen to! As always, be sure to spread the good word if you dig the tunes.

New Website, New Music, Good Times!
Welcome to the new website! I chose to go with a blog-centric website (using WordPress) to allow for easier updates and content management. Here is a quick run down of what you can find on the new site:
"The Latest" is what you are reading now. This is a news post that announces major updates, milestones, and announcements for my music.
"Releases" is where you will find all of my albums and DJ session information.
"Remixes" is where you will find info on all of my completed remixes (licensed and unlicensed).
"Bio" is pretty self explanatory.
"For Fans" contains sound clips of projects I am working on, and a Studio Log that I update regularly.
and lastly is the "Blog" section. The former sliptide.blogspot.com will remain in place for legacy posts, but all new blog posts will appear here on sliptide.com!
